For all the poppy songs on it this album still had many tracks with the core Offspring sound, the last on worth getting in my opinion. I used to like Conspiracy and Splinter too, but I've grown out of them. (lastfm.spiegel.de..../Americana)

uhhh half the songs on the last.fm listing are not on the actual album. Nitro for example is on Smash, Gone Away is on Ixnay. I haven't even listened to Offspring in years. (lastfm.spiegel.de..../Americana)

I also vaguely remember reading or watching a documentary claiming that we are not by nature or gentically designed to care for others offspring and would rather be "rid" of them to keep the bloodlines and dna pure.Is this something common amongst certain animals that they would kill off offspring to keep genes and dna pure? Courtesy Peter H. Niewiarowski In a study published in The American Naturalist , researchers have determined that animals in colder environments produce bigger offspring than those in warmer environments. (biology.about.com....spring.htm)

A just-released report in Science Daily takes a gardener's common sense a step further. It seems parent plants teach their children well, according to evolutionary biologist Laura Galloway, who found that "maternal plants give cues to their offspring that help them adapt to their environmental conditions". The Offspring recorded a version of the Damned\'s Smash It Up for the Batman Forever soundtrack in the summer of that year; it kept the band on the charts as they worked on their third album. (www.mp3.com....g/summary/)

The Offspring was one of the first bands i got into and i still think they are awesome, I first got splinter and i didnt think much of it untill i listened to it a bunch, offspring is a band that you have to listen to a lot to really get into. So i got th (www.mp3.com....g/summary/)

The Offspring has got to be one of the best bloody bands out there. Their instrument skills, their lyrics, everything is good about this band. I have got all their albums except their self-titled album and their great hits but I am trying hard to get them (www.mp3.com....g/summary/)

when i hear this song first time I was completely delighted :) amazing one and totaly perfect but now i can't- best song of offspring for sure beacase I just start to recognize this band and I'll sure offspring has some more amazing ones :) (lastfm.spiegel.de....7t+Alright)

Not very pop like at all really vouga666.About as far from pop as The Offspring can get really. Great song.I generally like the less known Offspring songs, since the singles off of their albums are generally the weakest songs from them, giving people pre-conceived notions that they are just full on pop punk. (lastfm.spiegel.de....?autostart)

One of the few Offspring songs (along with Amazed, Dirty Magic and Denial, Revisited) that really reach my heart.for those who passed away early in life. (lastfm.spiegel.de....?autostart)

It's so true Mesouki! But I'm afraid there are soo many offspring 's songs that can be called best , and u really cant choose at least 10 of them, it's too goddamn impossible! Americana's intro is awesome. (lastfm.spiegel.de....?autostart)

This song isn't bad but there are so many better ones on Conspiracy of One.I'd forgotten how good it was, due to the piss poor later attempts of The Offspring . (lastfm.spiegel.de....?autostart)

Following a prolonged bidding war and much soul-searching, the Offspring decided to leave Epitaph Records in 1996 for Columbia Records. The move was particularly controversial within the punk community, and many artists on the Epitaph roster, including Pennywise and owner Brett Gurewitz, criticized the band. After much delay, the Offspring finally released their Columbia debut, Ixnay on the Hombre , in February of 1997. Expectation for the record was high and it did receive good reviews, but Ixnay on the Hombre failed to become a crossover hit on the level of Smash, and the group also lost a significant portion of their hardcore punk audience due to the album\'s major-label status. Americana followed in 1998, scoring the hit Pretty Fly (For a White Guy). In mid-2000, the Offspring made controversial headlines with their decision to offer Conspiracy of One free of charge via the Internet prior to the initial November release date. Sony Music did not adhere to such a move and threatened a lawsuit; therefore, the band nixed plans to release the album in such a manner (www.mp3.com....g/summary/)

So, what conclusions could one draw from these numbers? Well, Offspring ’s suitability toward a given site probably depends both on the complexity of a site’s design and that site’s intended (browser) audience. Offspring ’s running-time scales with the number of elements in the DOM and that’s the type of “complexity” that I’m referring to. This would be why the numbers for Yahoo may not be as bad as you might otherwise expect — while the site’s design may be relatively intricate, its CSS-based layout has far fewer elements than if the site was to be coded with a table-based layout. If by chance your design is table-based and/or contains a bajillion elements (this means you, Amazon), you might want to give some thought to whether Offspring is the best choice for your site. In laboratory animal studies of elderly third-generation DES-exposed, female mice, an increased risk of uterine cancers, benign ovarian tumors, and lymphomas was found. Elderly third-generation DES-exposed male mice were at an increased risk of certain reproductive tract tumors. Both the female and male mice studied were the offspring of female mice exposed to DES before birth (in the womb). While DES research about third-generation health risks continues, you should protect your health by staying informed and talking with a health care provider about your concerns. " The group got offers from major labels, yet they chose to stay with Epitaph. While they were able to play arenas in the U.S., their success didn't translate in foreign countries. Nevertheless, the band's popularity continued to grow in America , as "Gotta Get Away" became another radio/MTV hit in the beginning of 1995. Featuring Holland, guitarist Kevin Noodles Wasserman, bassist Greg Kriesel, and drummer Ron Welty, the Offspring released their self-titled debut album in 1989. Four years later, their second album, Ignition, became an underground hit, setting the stage for the across-the-board success of 1994\'s Smash. The Nirvana sound-alike Come Out and Play, the first single from the album, became an MTV hit in the summer of 1994, which paved the way to radio success. The band was played on both alternative and album rock stations, confirming their broad-based appeal. Self Esteem, the second single, followed the same soft verse/loud chorus formula and stayed on the charts nearly twice as long as Come Out and Play.
