If you are a NASCAR fan, you might enjoy the racing scenes. I am not and even I saw some bloopers in the movie. It seems the producers didnt even care enough to take them out.but if they had it wouldnt have improved the movieso I can see why they didnt both (nascar.about.com....on-dvd.htm)
For an instance, would an ultrasound technician express hersatisfaction that a teen will not be raising the baby so audibly? Wouldthe receptionist at Planned Parenthood treat a patient so cavalierly? The only characters who come off as anything close to three-dimensionalare Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner . Garner in particular isoutstanding among the actors, and, with this script, you can put all ofthe credit with her talent. Her scene in the mall is a knockout(perfect for an Oscar clip, yes?). Really, the performances in generalare pretty good. As soon as I saw Ellen Page in X-Men 3, I knew shewould be a star. I hate the fact that I think X-Men 3 is her best movieso far, despite the two others she&s had that garnered some criticalacclaim (Hard Candy and the film presently being discussed). I do wishthey&d given Michael Cera, so funny in Superbad, a little more to do.I&d like to propose that we stop Diablo Cody before she strikes again. This script CANNOT win Best Original Screenplay. If I start the hungerstrike now, I should be able to get some media covera (us.imdb.com....s?start=70)
Nov 2, 1999 I f someone were to make a film about Chris Smith, the 29-year-old director, writer, cinematographer and co-producer of the festival favorite "AmericanMovie," it might go something like this: For two years, Smith - a lanky,soft-spoken former engineering student from Michigan - recordsthe absurd misadventures of Mark Borchardt, a beer-guzzling Wisconsin good ol' boy and would-be auteur who's struggling to complete a low-budget slasher movieso he can go on to make "Northwestern," the feature film he's always dreamed of. In the course of tracking Borchardt, Smith and Sarah Price (Smith's producing partner and girlfriend) endure their ownoff-screen difficulties mirroring the ones that Borchardt is having on screen. They run out of money, plunge into debt and lose financial support. But eventually they edit their 70 hours of footage down to a nicely shaped 107 minutes, and the film is invited to the Sundance Film Festival, where it wins the award for best documentary (dir.salon.com..../02/smith/)

than just a look into thepast. The cinematography gives it a ghostly, legendary, comic book feelwithout taking away from the grand display of larger than life battle sequences. This film looks amazing. Simple as that. You can expound on it and tryto come up with a definition but nothing really describes it. 300 was shotin 60 days with 10 visual effects vendors creating 1300 cuts involvingsome sort of visual effect. There are only 1500 cuts in the entire movieso that tells you the focus on effect. But it worked brilliantly (www.tollbooth.org....s/300.html)
