This was by far the most pleasant place I have stayed in Baja ! This was my first trip to Loreto, and I really enjoyed it. I selected Las Cabanas de Loreto from reviews and photos, and although the online photos are nice, they really don't do justice to the property. Camping on Rattlesnake beach was interesting and unique but the comforts and cleanliness of Tripui were a perfect counterpoint. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were firm as they seem to be everywhere in the Baja . Lovely balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning and appreciate those starry desert nights. we chose the Hotel Perla because of its history. By baja standards, it was reasonble. The rooms were clean and not too modern. The pool was clean and cold. Staff seemed indifferent. We paid $95 USD.
