Anderson, incidentally, seems to view the problem for law enforcement as being considerably broader than just encryption. In the future, he says, encryption will be pretty much an either/or in the sense that if you've got the key , you get in, and if you haven't, you give up. Most effort is therefore likely to go into analysing the vast amount of data within which evidence might be found: "I would think that in ten years' time when the police raid someone's home they might find dozens or perhaps hundreds of computing gadgets on which data can be stored. It is common nowadays, for example, for people to back up their data on devices like an iPod and so in future when you raid somebody's house you will seize their iPod and see if there are data files on it" ('Police to seize iPods' stories are imminent, we predict (www.theregister.co.uk....oor_panic/)

This is first society that the well-off outnumber the poor. That children may be better off than their parents . It assumes that the future can be better. We're in a diamond-shaped society where previously it was a pyramid with the bottom containing the world's poor. The satiable rich like riding the diamond out. It's the insatiable rich that want to flatten out the diamond back to a pyramid. (www.futuresalon.org/2004/11/)

WGA members, you should be entitled to a fair amount of money for the billions of dollars being earned from your work. Please remember that, and think of the future generations of writers who will be stuck with this deal. Tell your leaders to keep negotiating. Let them start over if the bratty-bully AMPTP jerks this deal back off the table. Theyāll come back! They canāt afford not to. WGA, take a breath, be patient, and continue the journey you started until you have your fair deal. Take a month off from picketing if you need it! Take two months, whatever! If necessary, seek other paying avenues as writers or work for the companies that signed the WGA interim agreements. More and more studios will keep signing them. Give it a chance . Do whateverās necessary to maintain your stand. This deal isnāt worthy of your talent, your strike, and may destroy your professional future. What if itās true that ratifying this deal is a greater risk than turning it down (www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com....k-to-work/)
