The Pergamon altar is just huge, as is the Ishtar Gate, the two exhibits this museum is famous for. They are a must-see in Berlin , and world famous. I cannot believe that this is the 23rd attraction of things to do in London . In my opinion, this has to be the top 5. I visited the Acropolis quite a few times during the months I lived in Athens . The Acropolis was the focal point of the city in Ancient Greece and it is the main attraction today. The Ursulines Museum is only part of the entire Ursuline complex. There is the museum, the school and the chapel. The museum is cheap to enter and cant be missed. May 27, 2003. This was the first time I visited Dominican Republic and I have to say I was a little skeptic about it. From the moment I arrived in Puerto Plata, everyone there was so hospitable. When i was younger I could never value the worth of the biggest beach in New Jersey. I could only ask "when are we going to get to the water?" Now that I am older I can truly understand just how amazing the beaches in Wildwood really are. Look for coupons in the local entertainment publications. And bring your camera. This attraction was more interactive than I expected, and photos are encouraged. This is primarily a shopping street, not a tourist attraction . There are lots of bridal shops, and also book shops.There is also the actors playhouse, where we saw moonlight & magnolias. We stopped at Gatorland after our cruise and before the airport. It was very easy to get to and was reasonably priced. Gatorland was not busy when we visited so we were able to see and do the whole site within 2 hours. It was nice to see the Gators up close (babies to grown ups). We enjoyed the tour which is included in the admission price. This was one of the main things I wanted to see during my last trip to Vegas. The problem was, I had scheduled my trip inadvertantly during a Star Trek convention. We visited the Aquarium because of the Beluga Whales, its just a fantastic place and a definate attraction to visit with the whole family. We thoroughly enjoyed the day there. The Beluga Whales are something else, there are also Dolphins, Sea Otters, Seals and many more animals that we did not expect to see. I have read the reviews and cannot agree with everything said about this attraction . I have been to European aquariums that have far better facilities and much more space for the animals.Vancouver aquarium is built in Stanley Park which is a 1000 acre park in Vancouver . This is a fabulous attraction and well worth a visit. The waterfalls are spectacular, and the other attraction s such as the butterfly exhibit were great. Best butterfly experience in Costa Rica, we learned a lot. AAA gave the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum a high recommendation and designated it a "Gem". My wife and I visited this attraction on Monday (October 8, 2007) and it certainly was a Gem.
