But, pickiness aside, it was a great adaptation . I loved the way Anne looked at the camera once I felt confident she wasn't going to speak to the camera (would have been awful). I liked the way her eyes would suddenly flick up and lock with mine. It made me jolt everytime and really brought home how alone she is and made me feel I was her only friend.
