My Grandmother was Priscilla Elizabeth Hardy , daughter of Jasper Newton Hardy . who was the son of Rev. Samuel H. Hardy , s/o James Green Hardy , Lt. Gov. of Kentucky who was the s/o Isham Peter Hardy, etc., etc., etc. . I find the part our ancestors played in Early American history fascinating and to me it seems that discovering my heritage relates a sense of grounding and stability.
