Well, I didn57;t do very well with this Thing-a-day thing lol. I57;m such the slacker and missed so many days, but nonetheless, Thing-a-day did get some creative juices flowing in my head (www.thing-a-day.com/)

¡Buena noticia! We are pleased that these border crossings at times allow us to present works that can be understood with a limited knowledge of a given language, but which require serious engagement from readers and their sensibility in respect to the nature of language - or, more exactly, of the nature of the process of understanding (www.thing.net....oppany.htm)

Today I made piles and piles of receipts as I entered them in the computer. Mind-numbing, but provides a certain satisfaction when bank statements are reconciled and bills are paid (www.thing-a-day.com/)

I didn57;t have a chance to get into town today for more wool, so I continued with the cross-stitch I57;ve been working on. It57;s taking longer than I thought it would! (www.thing-a-day.com/)

Green coffee beans are easy to find on the internet as are roasters.  I save money on roasting my own compared to buying beans.  And I brake even on the mass produced ground coffee.  But neither compare to the taste and fun of 56;do it myself57;. (www.thing-a-day.com/)

Not too much today, but I did get to the post office to mail out two swaps.  On a side note, the other day I attempted to make a stuffed Peep.  Well, at the grocery store today, I saw that they now sell stuffed Peep bunnies and ducks.  They look so much better than mine, so now I am sad. (www.thing-a-day.com/)

Yesterday I made a throw for my son following the guidelines from here but on a larger scale. The front of the throw is flannel and the back is so super soft and cozy. It was fairly quick to make and was completed in about 3 hours (www.thing-a-day.com/)

Well I figured there57;s only five days left to try something new- I discovered that pushing myself out of my comfort zone is70;um, what57;s the word I57;m looking for?70;.uncomfortable.  Hope to finish her tomorrow (www.thing-a-day.com/)

So I found out today that I was re-cast at Universal Studios. I used to work there a few years ago, doing both shows and street atmosphere characters. One of their attractions is Shrek 4-D , which is populated by new interpretations of fairy tale characters. I57;m going to be playing Hansel (as in 60;70;and Gretel61;), complete with lederhosen. Sweet (www.thing-a-day.com/)

I love asking this question; you get the best advice. What's the one thing you wish you hadn't done on your trip to Paris? What do you wish you had? What was your one favorite experience (www.tripadvisor.com....rance.html)

As you may have deduced, it's the blog's 7th birthday today. On February the 9th 2001, I started writing this thing. And now, 1,071,213 words later, it is still going. Until the wind changes , as Mary Poppins said.) (journal.neilgaiman.com....thing.html)

Bearskin rug, no hunting required.  Iâm  not completely finished with the outline, but will probably be able to finish tomorrow. This concludes my thing-a-day contributions.  Oh, Iâll still be making things, itâs just that I have to trek down to Gettysburg , PA tomorrow to help my grandmother move &hellip (www.technorati.com....-a-day.com)

In anxiety disorder recovery, small or "baby" steps often mean big success in the long run. Every step, every success means that you are courageous and that you are getting better. Learn how one person asks herself every day, "What small thing can I do today?" Read more (panicdisorder.about.com....-today.htm)

The concept of âShuffleâ would seem from the outside to be extraordinarily simple. It existed on CD players before the iPod, and existed on other MP3 players as well. Yet that concept is something that Iâve come to understand the importance of, and Levy makes it a key foundation of The Perfect Thin (articles.directorym.com....54741.html)

As much as we, Indians are famous for our spicy food, we also love and prepare lots of sweets for every occasion. You wouldn57;t notice this if your Indian culinary knowledge were gained from reading Indian cookbooks or eating out at Indian restaurants. Even the seasoned chefs, cookbook authors of Indian descent also shy away from detailing the Indian sweets recipes. (www.nandyala.org....006/03/14/)

i57;ve got several things i57;m going to do each day this month. actually 4 are things i will do, and the other are 2 things I won57;t. 4 things i57;ll do:   1 i57;ll take a photo that traces back to my day (the most make-a-thing-like thing) 2 i57;ll keep a  food journal 3 i57;ll do 29 situps/pushups 4 I57;ll take my vitamins     2 things i wont:  1 I won57;t drink (booze) 2 I57;ll stay away from white flour and sugar I57;m not sure this is how people are supposed to use this space, but that57;s my plan. here goes70; -jlb  (www.thing-a-day.com/2008/01/)

I used to write a lot of poetry and my creative medium was writing but that has since dropped off, so I will try to do some creative writing each day, totally the opposite of my current usual mode of expression which is all visual (www.thing-a-day.com/2008/01/)

But I am feeling brave, or at least there is a brave bit deep down inside pushing me to do this. Or it could be that I called my friend, told her my worries, and she bribed me with a prize if I can do it. [Something she57;s making] And I can57;t pass that up (www.thing-a-day.com/2008/01/)
