Depends a bit on where the ferry anchors. If it's the Hull one that's indeed middle of the industrial area. Landing June 20, 2008 in Rotterdam for for 8 hours and would like to know if anyone knows a reasonable tour to take 4 adults to Amsterdam for 7 of those hours. Rotterdam is a working city full of modern arcitecture. Then there is the Hotel New York . The principal attraction of this hotel is its central location to Capelle a/d Ijssel, just east of Rotterdam . Hotels are thin on the ground in this area, and the Bastion is conveniently placed for a comfortable stopover. We stayed with one colleague 2 weeks in Rotterdam . The room was quite big, with a nice bathroom. The desk personnel was quite nice and we didn't suffer from any inconvenience at this hotel.
