Overall impression: I was pleasantly surprised by the space, which is nicely designed and a step up from the old Divine Pasta place. I'm not sure why the sign out front lists Divine Pasta and a host of other names I'd never head of ("U.S. Fish" and others). My husband and I were in Chicago for the marathon, and wanted to try a seafood restaurant . We were very impressed with Catch 35 and will definitely be coming back. The service was excellent, the ambiance was great (piano playing in background while waiting at the bar), and food & presentation were wonderful. My husband and I went on a Sunday and got there about 10 minutes before opening at 4 pm and had to wait in line. We were the first ones not to make the cut before the restaurant got full. We went to Giacomo's recently and it was great! Yes, there is usually a long line, it is a small place, and it is very loud, but is has amazing service and food. This is a sister restaurant to Pacific'O in Lahaina, Maui. We ate at Pacific'O for lunch and liked it so much that we tried I'O for dinner the next night. My husband and I just returned from a weekend trip to San Francisco where we enjoyed a dinner at Restaurant Gary Danko (for the first time) with my parents. Everyone's definition of what a "number 1" restaurant is, is bound to vary. However, in my opinion a "number 1" restaurant should have some special quality whether it be the food, the atmosphere, the service, or some combination of the above. This gem is one of if not the best restaurant in Key West. The staff are fantastic and the food is incredible. My husband and I went there for breakfast and the Chesapeake Eggs are wonderful.
