I stayed at the Palace Hotel on a business trip to Noordwijk . I've stayed at other hotels there, and this is certainly better than average.I'm a bit surprised to see it having a 5* rating, though: I would have guessed it was a good 4*. Stayed in grand hotel huis ter duin for a short time (some 2 days) and was impressed with the service. The suites were luxuriously appointed and top floor suites had a remarkable view. We stayed at the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk for five days in August 2003. It was a great experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was on the fourth floor with a balcony overlooking the coast line and town. Have stayed here twice now on business. What's really surprising is that I've been travelling regularly to Noordwijk for years and only discovered the NH Hotel last year. This is probably due to the out-of-town location, off a minor road 2 miles NE of Noordwijk -an-Zee town centre. Katwijk and Noordwijk are nice seaside towns in between 'dam and 'Hague. Worth a visit. But also 'Hague does have its beach, called Scheveningen a bit less intimate than these towns. (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
