The staff were very helpful and as our room was not ready when we arrived we registered and they stored our luggage whilst we went into Amsterdam for the day. The tram journey in and out was fine but I am not sure I would have been so keen to do it at night as the walk back to the hotel was through a rather rough area. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very large and comfortable. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the meal was fine and service good. Ijmuiden , netherlands Friday, January 31, 2003 at 01:47:19 (PST) Okay everyone, strap yourselves in because I am about to go on a rant about this resort. I stayed at the Mirage December 14 through 19, 2002. This was my second trip to Vegas with my parents and I'm 21. I stayed at the Luxor on my first trip, so I'm going to do a little comparing. Let's go ahead and start with the good things. Everyone at the valet, the restaurants, and the check-in was very sweet. Beautiful resort. Loved the volcano . The dolphin habitat and Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden was one of the highlights of my trip. Totally enjoyed that. The location is good too. Its nice that you can get off that little walkway and go right up to the Caesar's forum shops. Now lets get to the bad things. The room was nice and clean when we got there and the beds were softer and the pillows were fluffier than at the Luxor. But the view sucked. I think its rediculous that you have to pay 20+ dollars a night for a room with a vie (www.las-vegas.cruzino.com....irage.html)

I am trying to find out what papers in Iowa looked like in 1912. The reason for this is that I am a boardmember of a musical club, De Jonge Stem (The Young Voice) , for young people (12 22 years of age) in IJmuiden a small city not too far from Amsterdam , the Netherland, Europe . Next november we are going to perform the musical The Music Man; well known in the States, but for the first time in our country! This musical is situated in River City, Iowa, as you maybe know. In the first scene there are people sitting in a train, reading a paper.
