My father was Stanley James Houston son of Robert James Houston and Rubina Myrtle Lockhart. He was born 1925 and died 1984. He had a long association with the Boy Scouts in Golden Square/Bendigo starting in 1933 as a wolf cub until becoming a warranted leader in 1957. He served in the second world war as a private between 1942 and 1945. He married my mother Edna Joyce Johnson in 1948 and they had 5 children.
