Overall the holiday was the worst we have ever had. Lots of issues regarding rude staff poor standards nobody appears to give a hoot to improve this. We have in the past visited another 5 star Riu hotel in Mexico the difference in standards is unbelievable. (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)
This holiday was not at all as we expected it to be, the hotel is most certainly not 5 star more like a poor 3 star. Therefore if you are looking for friendly staff, good standards 5 star service our advice is stay well clear of this hotel. (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Riu Bachata, and it was the best holiday we have had in ages! We have been to several other Riu's in Mexico and this was just as good if not better. (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)
We went on the catamaran trip to Sosua beach for snorkelling. I thought it was fantastic, though my wife was a bit seasick. The snorkelling was great too. We would agree with everyone else that this hotel has to be the best yet and we would definately try another Riu.If it hadn't been for the holiday camp style entertainment we would have given it 5 stars. If you don't want to spend any money on holiday you would'nt av too, we only bought a few souveniers, but we spent alot on photos of the kids which was taken by a photogragher on a daily basis with various animals,(parrot, monkey,lizzard etc (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)
This was for my honeymoon and it was fantastic, the people were so friendly, the entertainment staff were excellent, beaches were very good, did the trip to Ocean World to swim with dolphins, this was worth every penny, unlimited choice of food which was great a very good holiday already booking up for next year. If you want a quiet holiday , then this is not the place for you. It is impossible to relax on the beach or by the pool without any of the aminatio team herassing you to come and play football or something similar, or music blairing ou (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)
It was great that you could have the use of the two other hotels, this varied the days, and all were as good. We spent alot of the time on the beach this holiday , as it was quite windy, and it didn't feel like you were cooking as much. i was very disappointed about my holiday as it let me down by the lack of infomation that over seven hundred drunken canadian students would arrive and cause havoc e.g fighting,swereing,vomiting and urinating in the pubic eye therefore i will not use this resorte AGIAN (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)

We had fresh flowers in our bathroom and on our pillows daily and the accomodation was cleaned to a high standard. The fridge was re stocked regularly and sometimes to excess but who's complaining. Tipping was not necessary but we found our friends from the USA were doing it quite a lot (bars, restaurants). We left tips for all the staff at the end of our holiday . (Being English we are not habitual tippers as a Canadian pointed out! (www.holidays-uncovered.biz....misc_a.htm)
The only downer for us was the lack of evening entertainment of the english variety its rather sedate unless you meet a good bunch which we did. There are quite a lot of canadians and americans at this resort and not so many english this did not detract from the holiday (www.holidays-uncovered.biz....misc_a.htm)
I wasnt too sure about what to expect but this is truly a wonderful place to have a relaxing and good value holiday . The flight was very long 14 hours going there and 10 hours coming back but aside from that the hotel and facilities were very good (www.holidays-uncovered.biz....misc_a.htm)

One of the few draw backs to this holiday was the flight out, we were on the plane for 16 hours. This was due to strong head winds and a refueling stop in the Dominican Republic. The flight home was direct and took only 9 and half hours (www.holidays-uncovered.biz....misc_a.htm)

We really enjoyed our holiday to Huatulco and would recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday in Mexico . The reason for lack of reviews by other UK visitors to this area is because our flight was the first UK flight to land at Huatulco and therefore we were the first UK visitors to visit the Barcelo and the 2 other hotels in this area. All in all we had a brilliant holiday , although this was our first all inclusive long haul holiday and some of the more experinced UK long haul holiday makers said it wasn't as good as other hotels they had been to. If you are into beauty treatments etc then you are able to take advantage of the spa treatments at the hotel. None were included in our holiday with JMC although some other guests who booked with other operators had theirs included. Our holiday was an airtours prestige holiday , which meant we had additional luggage 30kg, pre booked seats and vip lounge at airport. excellent package, vip lounge was fab that in itself must have saved us around 50 pounds in the cost of drinks and food at the airport (www.holidays-uncovered.biz....misc_a.htm)

This was my last hotel stay in what had been a very enjoyable 2 week motoring holiday in Arizona. Bisbee has an almost European feel about it, very friendly (it was not unusual while walking around for people to say hello!), but the hotel was awful. (www.holidays-uncovered.net....misc_a.htm)

I'm sorry to say, but our dealings with the booking of our holiday from the start were bad. We booked the original King of the Road tour in the Virgin brochure but because we added an extra day at the start and end of the holiday , our holiday became tailor made . the beach at playa dorada was nice but there was a nicer beach about 20 mins away in a taxi called soussa. the holiday over all was exellent and we would definatly go again in the future (www.holidays-uncovered.net....rada_a.htm)
the only problem with this holiday was when we landed and were on are way to the transfer coach,all the locals crowd around you and try and take your case so you can tip them, dont tip them too much or just take your own case (www.holidays-uncovered.net....rada_a.htm)

Juat a few lines about our recent holiday to Dorada Beach Club Resort,dom rep.We went on the 19th nov till 4 dec05,the first 5 days the weather was not fantastic,very cloudy and it rained on and off,but we didn't let the weather get the better of us (www.holidays-uncovered.net....rada_a.htm)

Hurricane Jeanne tried to spoil the holiday by smashing down a few trees and tearing up some of the tarmac paths, but within 24 hours the hotel staff cleared everything away and it was back to norma (www.holidays-uncovered.net....rada_a.htm)

We stayed in the Tropicale room, yes it was basic, but it was clean the sheets did get changed and the maids work hard, you try working in that heat. We did not plan to spend our whole holiday in our room it was only somewhere to sleep (www.holidays-uncovered.net....rada_a.htm)
we went on the 28 jan for 2 weeks an what a 2 weeks we had it was the best holiday we had. we both work as holiday reps so we new what kind of entertainment to except but the entertainers where the best ever they where workin none stop and made everyone feel very welcome.
