13. I LOVE game shows. I watch Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and Family Feud on a regular basis. What makes these shows good is that they are challenging and fun. Also they didn't change too much. They have new sets that are updated, which they should be, but they still retain the familar look of the show that many are familiar with. Family Feud in recent years had some very bad sets that attempted to be modern but they didn't look like the feud I know and love. I really like the set they currently have, it's modern but has the look and feel of the game a I know and love. Now if only they can get a theme that uses the original melody, kinda of like the 94 theme the show would be perfect (hotsearches.aol.com....reference/)
Well, i'm gonna be very critical because I LOVE this kind of game. There is A LOT of work to do, overall in playability (is it well spelled?). You must add the MUTE option cause i played for 20min and the zelda loop almost kills me : (www.pygame.org....se_id=1105)
You may be able to negotiate truces with other players, where your pieces won't send his or hers back for a certain number of turns. You have to decide before the game starts whether these type of deals are enforceable (jergames.blogspot.com....in100.html)
You may have to collect various different things during the game , and your final score is whatever you have the least of. For instance, if you have 2 blue coins, 4 red coins, 5 green coins, and 7 yellow coins, your score is 2. Let's say that each player's turn in a game consists of something like: 1) roll the dice and move your piece. 2) Pick and play cards. 3) Trade with other players. 4) Buy and sell properties. For a four player game, create four "role cards", one for each of these activities. Then the next player chooses one of the other roles and all players do that task. And so on, until all players have chosen roles. Why should all of your tokens be the same? A Captain token works the same as any other token, but it has a different effect. For instance, if a Captain lands on a space, the rewards or penalties for that space can be doubled. Or if you have a game where you send another player back to the start by landing on his token, only a Captain token can send another Captain token back to the start.
