Oh, poor Batman . His Batmobile from Batman Forever fetched less than half its reserve price on eBay after Warner Bros. put it up for auction. Expected to go for between $600,000 to $800,000, the Batmobile was only bid to $297,000. Apparently Warner Bros. restrictions like "you can never, ever, ever, ever dream about driving this car in public" turned off some buyers. (This week while cruising the channels we happened upon Joel Schumacher 's ridiculously over-wrought penultimate 1995 Batman Forever , starring Val Kilmer , Chris O'Donnell sporting an earring as Robin, Nicole Kidman as a sexy therapist, a hyped-up Jim Carrey as The Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones in piles of makeup as Two-Face. After checking out their website www.whenzombiesattack.com it appears that the creators Matt Rose and Chad Waters aren t short on work. They also moonlight as makeup and creature effects artist who have worked on films like Hellboy , The Ring , Batman Returns and Forever, Predator , and many others. For Superman , thereās pretty much only bitter, bald Lex Luthor, forever being reinvented by writers and artists in an effort to make him a worthy foe.
