On the weekends the bar next door is a little noisy , but we didnt have a problem with it. If you go to amsterdam to have fun like we do, a little music next door wont stop you from sleeping, it didnt us. (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
What can I say exept if you visit amsterdam you must stay with amsterdam escape. I have visited amsterdam 6 times now staying in a range of accomidations from boats to penthouses but amsterdam escape will always comes first from now on. Everything is perfect and Brendan and his collages are extremly helpful. Best holiday yet (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)

It has been recommended to us that when we go to The Netherlands in June that instead of staying in Amsterdam to stay in nearby Haarlem . We are booked at Golden Tulip Hotel Lion D'Or in June (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
hi , whist there is nothing wrong with staying in Haarlem if you want to get the most from your trip I think you will get it in Amsterdam itself. Especially with 3 young children , it will cut down on your travel considerably (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
I would think it would be very challenging to be in Amsterdam with three children. With the trams, bicycles and things like the red light district and coffee shops I wouldn't bring our children. The numerous times we have been to Amsterdam we have seen few tourists with them. (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
thanks for your suggestions Geoff, will check them out. Hopefully my children will survive the Amsterdam experience! Would love to hear from anyone else who has done Amsterdam with kids (www.tripadvisor.com....lland.html)
